According to the WeChat public account of the Public Security Bureau of Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, at about 22:00 on July 21, a deflagration accident occurred in a market house in Xinxing Street, Zhanqian District, Yingkou City, resulting in one death and one minor injury.
After the public security organs worked overnight, it was initially confirmed that the deceased Xu (male) was suspected of a case of intentional homicide. After killing the victim Li (male), he detonated the liquefied gas tank and was killed on the spot, causing minor injuries to a nearby resident.
The motive for the crime is under further investigation.
