The allegations of sexual abuse, affairs and fantasies of cannibalism have put Armie Hammer in financial distress.

The Californian actor ("Call Me By Your Name") is said to be offering vacation rentals on the Cayman Islands and working in a hotel to keep his head above water, according to reports from the industry journal "Variety".

Text messages published with sexual excesses

Hammer had to say goodbye to Hollywood two years ago.

Producers had previously removed the 35-year-old from screenplays like Shotgun Wedding and The Billion Dollar Spy after allegations by several women.

The artist agency WME also parted ways with Hammer.

A former girlfriend reported the actor for allegedly raping and hitting her for four hours in 2017.

Later, text messages containing sexual debauchery attributed to him were posted on social media.

His wife Elizabeth Chambers, with whom he has two children, then filed for divorce.

The Los Angeles Police Department's investigation into the actor is said to have been dropped without a result.

Hammer, who spent a few months in a rehab clinic last year, admitted to having had several affairs.

The sexual encounters are said to have been consensual.
