The Emirati capital will shine once again on world cinema screens as an ideal filming location for the famous sandy planet “Arachis”, in the masterpiece of director Denis Villeneuve, adapted from the best-selling novel by writer Frank Herbert, as “Legendary Entertainment”, the company that produced the Oscar-winning “Dion” movie, confirmed , her return to Abu Dhabi later this year to shoot the second part of the movie.

The epic adventure film, produced by “Legendary Pictures” and “Warner Brothers,” will be filmed in the dunes of the Liwa Desert for nearly a month, with the participation of a team of local and international talent.

The artwork will benefit from a 30% cashback on the production cost provided by the Abu Dhabi Film Commission, while Epic Films will provide production services, in addition to supporting a number of production partners in the UAE.
