Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, has increased the number of tournaments held at equestrian facilities in the city, so we are distributing a large amount of horse manure to citizens for free so that they can use it in their vegetable gardens.

The "Equestrian Sports Center" managed by Gotemba City was designated by the national government as a strengthening base for top athletes in 2008, and various competitions are held on weekends.

The number of tournaments to be held this year has doubled compared to 10 years ago, and according to Gotemba City, an average of 14 tons of horse manure will be produced for each tournament.

Until now, it had been accepted by nearby farmers and ranches, but due to its limitations, it was difficult to handle it.

For this reason, Gotemba City distributes horse manure to citizens free of charge so that it can be used for home gardens and gardening.

If you come to pick it up, you need to make a reservation for the date and time in advance, and if you live in Gotemba City and Oyama Town, you can deliver it if you can accommodate a 2-ton truck.

For inquiries, please contact Gotemba City Equestrian Sports Center and call 0550-80-4150.

Gotemba City says, "Since horse manure contains a lot of nutrition, I would like you to feel free to use it."
