Volodymyr Zelensky suspended Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova and the head of the country's security services (SBU) Ivan Bakanov, due to suspicions of treason by some of their subordinates for the benefit of the Russians.
It was initially a question of their dismissal, but kyiv has rectified today and is now talking about suspensions, the time to carry out investigations and verifications.

Ukrainian authorities are investigating more than 650 cases of suspected treason by local officials, including 60 in areas occupied by Russian and pro-Russian forces.
