From 0:00 to 24:00 on July 15, Anhui Province reported 16 new local confirmed cases and 139 new local asymptomatic infections.
Among them, a total of 150 new infections were reported in Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City in a single day.
Huaiyuan County is located in the northern part of Anhui, under the jurisdiction of Bengbu City, with a total area of 2,192 square kilometers and a total population of 1.33 million.
The first report of the epidemic in Huaiyuan County was on the 15th. On the same day, the county issued a notice saying that on the 14th, the county found 151 cases of positive people through regional nucleic acid screening.
After Si County in Suzhou, another county in northern Anhui became the focus of public opinion because of the epidemic.

Judging from the scope of this epidemic, the infected people reported in Huaiyuan County on the 15th were distributed in 6 townships, of which 132 were in Weizhuang Town, accounting for 87.4%.
Weizhuang Town was classified as a high-risk area in the early morning of the 16th.
According to the public information of the Huaiyuan County Government, Weizhuang Town is located in the northeast of Huaiyuan County, with an area of 103.36 square kilometers and a total population of 47,780 (2017). It is adjacent to Baoji Town and ancient towns, 15 kilometers away from Huaiyuan County and 32 kilometers away from Bengbu City.
Risk of spillover: more than 200 letters of assistance, 5 from outside the province

Nucleic acid testing, a total of 1,204,520 people were sampled, 2 people were positive in the initial screening, and 3 people were tested positive in the isolated population. The positive infections were all in Yuhui District, and the rest were negative.

According to the data released by the Anhui Provincial Health and Health Commission on the 16th, from June 26th to 24:00 on July 15th, Anhui Province reported a total of 395 local confirmed cases, including 363 cases in Si County, Suzhou City, 16 cases in Lingbi County, and Bengbu City. There are 15 cases in Huaiyuan County and 1 case in Yuhui District, and 160 cases are currently being treated in the hospital; a total of 1,625 cases of local asymptomatic infections have been reported, and 804 cases are still under medical observation.
