They cheered a little, rejoiced - and good.

There are no more EW programs on Channel One this Saturday.

EW is such a program where they showed excellent, real, high-quality poets (and even musicians sometimes) who broke with the party and supported our army and the people of Donbass.

There were two editions - and that's it.

I know in advance the answer why this happened: no ratings.

Well, if people have not heard poetry for 30 years, but only jokes, anecdotes and parodies, they, of course, get scared and immediately switch.

People need to be educated for a long time and diligently, but we have a market.

They only sell on the market.

In the past weeks, I have seen many posts in Telegram channels that the people have seen the light and no longer want to see their idols who betrayed the army, but want to hear a living word of compassion and valor.

Much was said about the time of the new Simonovs, the new Shulzhenkos.

It's nice to read, but it has nothing to do with reality.

Well, just not the slightest.

Simonov and Shulzhenko were known throughout the country.

Not some part of the refined public, but naturally the whole country.

Comrade Stalin did his best to let the country know about them.

What today?

The incredible level of the poetess Olesya Nikolaeva and Maria Vatutina have books with a circulation of 3 thousand copies and publics in Telegram, where there are less than a thousand subscribers.

The wonderful poets Dmitry Melnikov and Igor Karaulov have their own magazines in Telegram, each with about 5,000 subscribers, the same number, by the way, for Yunna Moritz.

Circulation of books for all three ... Well, I will not talk about it.

The military correspondent and poet Anna Dolgareva, almost a real star, has 40 thousand subscribers in Telegram as a military correspondent and 15 thousand as a poet.

The funniest (sadest) example: the military commander Semyon Pegov (WarGonzo cart) has a million subscribers, and the poet Semyon Pegov (the “Days Peg verse” cart) has one and a half thousand.

They will tell me: well, poetry is really difficult to read, this is not an indicator.

I will not refer to examples of how "stupid scoops" went to poetry concerts in stadiums and bought hundreds of thousands of poetry books.

You never know what then, with the "scoop", it was!

Then whole poetry meetings were shown on TV, regardless of the ratings, and documentaries about poets were shown in prime time.

That time has passed.

But we have other examples - music.

It is easier to listen to music than to read poetry, and today the songs about the special operation should, it would seem, shake the wave: at least these songs were actively posted on Telegram channels.

I looked at YouTube, how many views these songs eventually got.

The absolute record is the cover of "I'm staying."

389 thousand

Not 38 million. Not 3 million 800 thousand, but 389 thousand. A song where thirty stars sing at once that they remain in their beloved Russia.

What follows is even sadder.

Akim Apachev and Daria Frey: “Plive Kacha” (they talked about this song, argued, cursed, Solovyov and all the leading public posted a video for it) - as a result, 120 thousand views.

Rapper Rich: great song (and great video) "Dirty Work" - 40 thousand views.

Group "St. John's wort": "My Mariupol" (great song and great clip) - 35 thousand views.

Alexander F. Sklyar: "You forgot, brother" (an excellent video for, as for me, a poorly written song, but oh well) - 30 thousand views.

Although there were also dozens of reposts.

Yulia Chicherina's new original song "The Red Army is the Strongest of All" - 8,000 views.

These are novelties, and the speed of their viral spread is none.

A little earlier, already during the special operation, the song of the group "St.

Finally, it is worth mentioning the new video for Vadim Samoilov's old composition "For Donbass" (aka "To Berlin") - 250 thousand views.

Total!

What can I say, even Oleg Gazmanov and Alexander Marshal, who recorded the touching composition "Motherland", did not reach a million, stopping at the figure of 924 thousand views.

But what do we see in the opposite, so to speak, camp?

Max Pokrovsky and the Nogu Svelo group, who took a brightly Russophobic (if you really want to - peacekeeping, although this is not so) position.

Let's see what they have.

The video for the song "Ukraine" - almost 4 million views.

The video for the song "We do not need war" - 2.3 million views.

Video for the song "Back, Russia!"

- 1.5 million more views.

One Pokrovsky, don't be angry, puts all our patriotism on YouTube at once.

But only he is there, on the other side, not alone!

There are at least ten more such examples.

And 20 more - thinner.

Potap sings in Russian in Israel verses about "Get out, katsap" and gains in a day, like Akim Apachev in a month.

Why did it happen?

Maybe they have better songs?

They are not better, they are not better.

They are worse.

They just know how to work with it.

And they worked with it for 30 years.

And their experience in this sense is unprecedented.

And here, in our suddenly become patriotic state, there is neither work nor experience.

Moreover, they do not want to buy it.

They are all right as it is.

What is there, by the way, in Ukraine according to the same indicators?

One example, the most accessible.

Vakarchuk and "Ocean Elzy": "Place of Mary", a song about Mariupol.

On YouTube - 3.1 million views.

One Vakarchuk beats Gazmanov, Marshal, Apachev, Rich, Chicherina, "St. John's wort" and all our poets at once.

By views.

Because the people there are connected to this agenda.

And our people are turned off.

People do not sit in Telegram.

People watch TV and listen to the radio.

These songs and these poems are not there.

There were, but then the holiday broke off.

I don't want to upset anyone.

I just want people to be realistic about things.

When one good girl, a TV presenter, writes in her blog that “the people fell out of love with Morgenstern and Kirkorov” and fell in love with Alexei Dzhango Poddubny, Sergei Galanin, Rich and Apachev, I want not to laugh, but to cry.

As soon as there is a new concert (and it will be) of Kirkorov, there will be a total house.

As soon as there is a new Morgenstern concert (and there will be), there will be a full stadium.

Any anti-war song from these two will endure the entire Donbass musical and poetic spring at once.

There will definitely be millions of views and thousands of reposts.

You just don't know the country you live in.

Now you can write in the comments that you don't have a single friend who listens to Kirkorov, Morgenstern and - who else is there?

— Makarevich.

Which, by the way, dashed off several anti-war ballads.

Each has 500 thousand views on YouTube.

They roll with one left foot.

BUT!

I remembered what else is usually written in the comments in such cases:

“Stop whining!

Go and change!"

Go ahead and change yourself.

I've already been there.

It's closed for lunch.
