Adélie brand ice cream, sold at Intermarché, is currently the subject of a recall, indicates Rappel Conso, the site for dangerous product alerts.

This product is being recalled due to the potential presence of pieces of wood in the ice from the sticks.

These are Colossus granola-style ice creams.

They were sold between February 22 and July 12, 2022, in all Intermarché stores in France.

Do not consume, as a precaution

Three batches are concerned: 040 22, 104 22 and 167 22, with respective minimum durability dates of 08/07/2024, 10/10/2024 and 12/12/2024.

The ice creams are sold in packs of four.

"Due to the risk of injury/adverse effects following the ingestion of this product, as a precaution it is recommended that people who hold products belonging to the lot(s) described above not to consume,” says Rappel Conso.

Customers can return the ice cream to the store for a refund.
