Leave our breasts in peace!

In this new episode of our weekly meeting "All Sexplained", which focuses on sexuality and society, we talk about breasts, nipples, puberty, injunctions and individual freedom.

The guest of this episode is Anna Toumazoff, feminist activist, author of the recent

, imagined as a dictionary for teenagers, published by Mango.

The breasts, “these somewhat cumbersome companions fall on you at puberty, sometimes bringing you confused discomfort and pride”, recalls Anna Toumazoff in particular in this book.

The female breast is considered, at the same time, as a symbol of motherhood, but also of desire, of sexuality.

The female breast is also subject to multiple injunctions: it must be plump, high but "natural", while remaining hidden, because considered immodest...

Another reminder from the feminist activist: perfect breasts do not exist, both in their shapes, their colors, their sizes, and the presence or absence of hair around the nipples.

There is not a female breast, but as many breasts as people.
