On the 14th, the Sichuan People's Art Theater WeChat official account issued an obituary saying that Comrade Sun Bin, an outstanding party member of the Communist Party of China, a famous performing artist, and a national first-class actor of the Sichuan People's Art Theater, died on July 1, 2022 due to illness. He died at his home in Chengdu at 7:00 a.m. on March 14, at the age of 93.

It is reported that Sun Bin began to work in drama performance art in 1950 and participated in more than 100 performances.
Representative works include "Ball Sword", "Chen Yi Out of the Mountain", "Home" and so on.
He has won the Wenhua Performance Award, the Chinese Drama Golden Lion Award, and the Drama Festival Outstanding Performance Award. Since 1992, he has been enjoying the special allowance of the State Council for life.
