According to reports, in the daily screening of key personnel in Huaiyuan County, it was found that one tube of samples was abnormal through a mixed test method of 20 and 1, and then a single-person and single-tube screening found that there was one case of positive infection in the first screening, and immediately in the county. Regional nucleic acid testing was carried out within the scope, and a total of 151 cases of positive infection were detected.
After the outbreak of the epidemic, the local government strictly implemented the general strategy of "foreign defense against imports, internal defense against rebound" and the general policy of "dynamic clearing", and activated the emergency response mechanism as soon as possible.
The 151 infected people found in Huaiyuan County were distributed in 6 towns, of which 132 were in Weizhuang Town, accounting for 87.4%. Other distributions were: 8 cases in Jingshan Town, 7 cases in Liucheng Town, 2 cases in Baoji Town, Gucheng 1 case in the town and 1 case in the Longkang farm; 1,371 close contacts and 386 sub-intensive contacts were identified at the same time. At present, all those who were initially screened positive for infection have been transferred to designated hospitals for medical observation and treatment. All close contacts have implemented home monitoring measures.
In order to block the risk of the spread of the epidemic, Huaiyuan County implemented closed management of all communities and villages (residential houses) in the county from 0:00 on July 15.

Up to now, a total of 201 letters of assistance have been issued to relevant regions, including 5 from outside the province.
At present, the risk of the spread of the epidemic is in a preventable and controllable situation, with sufficient material reserves and social stability.
The health department has set up a special yellow code hospital to provide medical security for people with special needs.

At the same time, information on the epidemic will be released in a timely manner through official channels to respond to social concerns as soon as possible.
