A horrific crime, the victim of a child .. "The Martyr of Chastity" provokes a wide wave of sympathy in Egypt

The Egyptian Public Prosecution’s investigations revealed details of a horrific crime that sparked public opinion and a wide wave of sympathy on social media platforms, as the 14-year-old girl was killed in the Barajil area of ​​Giza governorate.

The girl, according to local newspapers, was called Amal Nasri and was known in the media as the "martyr of chastity and purity." She died after her cousin slaughtered her and stabbed her in the stomach after he failed to rape her.

The accused was arrested after several fixed and mobile ambushes, and he was instructed on the location of the weapon used in the incident, in an agricultural area near the victim's house.

Investigations indicated that the accused decided to rape the victim, so he went to her house after making sure that she was alone after her parents went out to work in garbage collection.

She indicated that the accused knocked on the door, so she opened the victim to him because of a kinship between them, and he stood and spoke to her and asked her for a glass of water, so she brought him water.

And she continued: "After the accused drank water, he brought a white weapon - a knife - from inside the kitchen of the house, which is located in the entrance, down the stairs outside the apartment, and pointed the weapon in the face of the victim to force her to attack her."

And the investigations added: “At the same time, the victim’s brother came and knocked on the outer iron door of the house, and called her on her mobile phone. In front of the house, he ran away from the scene of the incident.

The prosecution referred the incident to the Giza Criminal Court, which set the first session of the accused's trial, on August 1.
