A study has determined which were the ten most attractive French cities for working people.

Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme) took ninth place in the ranking established by the recruitment firm Hays on HelloWork, a job search platform.

74% of the inhabitants of the city said they were ready to recommend it, indicates the report relayed by

Actu Saint-Etienne

.

The ranking was established by asking the 2,383 participants to assess the quality of their city.

In particular, they praised the environment, housing and cost of living offered by their city.

The Clermontois, on the other hand, were more circumspect about safety, transport and the labor market.

Award-winning quality of life

Clermont-Ferrand even comes second when only taking into account quality of life, and third in terms of cost of living alone.

The prefecture, on the other hand, finished second to last out of 20 in terms of economic dynamism.

Lyon (Rhône), Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) and Nantes (Loire-Atlantique) dominate the general classification.
