The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Abu Dhabi 2022), whose new session will start on September 26, revealed the criteria for participation in the competitions for the best invention in the field of falconry and hunting, and the best vehicle for hunting trips, which opened for nominations until August 31.

The two competitions aim to encourage individuals and owners of falconry companies and manufacturers of hunting equipment to present distinguished ideas and invent new inventions that contribute to serving the world of hunting, falconry, falcon training, hunting trips, safari and outdoor activities.

The two competitions are also keen on motivating inventors to present their innovations for the benefit of falconers and hunting enthusiasts on their trips, exchanging knowledge and experiences and strengthening relations between local and international companies, which contributes to strengthening efforts to preserve falconry, inheriting the sports of parents and grandparents, and presenting the best innovations in the world of hunting.

The next (19) edition of the exhibition will be held from September 26 to October 2, organized by the Emirates Falconers Club.

The competitions for the best invention in the field of falconry and hunting, and the best car dedicated to hunting trips, are directed to exhibiting companies and participants in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition from all countries, provided that the innovation is new and provides a tangible service to falconers, hunting and safari enthusiasts, and has not previously participated in it, And so that it will be presented to the exhibition audience for the first time in the next session of the exhibition, and at reasonable prices that do not constitute an obstacle to the use of the invention or the hunting car.

Participation is allowed for individuals and companies, of all nationalities, provided that the invention, or the hunting trip car, was produced in the last four years, and the project reflects the features of the human cultural heritage;

And to provide an innovative benefit and service to falconers, hunting enthusiasts and land trips, and contribute to providing comfort to falconers and hunters, reducing effort and time, and adapting to nature.

In early July, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition announced the start of candidacy to participate in its specialized heritage, artistic and cultural competitions, which include 25 branches and categories, noting that registration is available until the end of next month, when 43 prizes have been allocated for various competitions.

The theme of the event for the next session was "Sustainability and Heritage... in a Renewed Spirit", as a reflection of Abu Dhabi and the world's efforts to enhance the sustainability of the environment, fishing, heritage sports and related businesses, and to formulate a comprehensive strategy to develop the event and create more events and activities that build on the successes of the past sessions in a creative renewed spirit.

The richness and comprehensiveness of the exhibition is evident in its 11 diverse sectors, namely:

Arts and crafts, equestrian, falconry, hunting and safari trips, hunting and camping equipment, hunting weapons, conservation and promotion of environmental and cultural heritage projects, outdoor recreation vehicles and equipment, veterinary products and services, fishing and marine sports equipment, and specialized media.

In addition to the competitions for the best invention in falconry and hunting, and the best car for hunting trips, the competitions in which conditions and criteria for participation will be announced during the coming period include the competition for the most beautiful captive-bred falcons, the best display platform / pavilion for each of the 11 sectors that make up the exhibition, as well as Jamal Al Saluki Arabian Hound Competition (Al Hoss / Al Arish - males / females).

The (Abu Dhabi 2022) competitions also include the competition for the most beautiful photographs that express the theme of the new session, the competition for the most beautiful photograph of the activities of the 19th session and the best video clip of the activities of the 19th session.

In the context of enhancing awareness of the pillars of cultural heritage, the audience of the next session of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition will be accompanied by many heritage activities, including popular games for children, live heritage workshops (Al Sadu, Al Talli, Al Khous, Pottery, and Glass), in addition to displaying models of Emirati houses. The old houses (Bait Al Bahar, Bait Al Poetry, and Bait Al Ain), and models of heritage artifacts (made of palm fronds), in addition to other activities in the performance area.
