A 2-year-old girl left behind in a playpen died of heat stroke in a housing complex in Tondabayashi, Osaka, and her two grandmothers were arrested. Was found by interviewing the investigators.

Last month, Yuyo Ono (2) died of heat stroke in a housing complex in Tondabayashi City, and Takanori Momoda (50), who lives with her grandmother Mayumi Ono (46), left Yuyo. He was arrested on suspicion of abandoning the protection officer for going out.

Yuyo had been left in the playpen two days before his death, but investigators suspect that his hands were tied up.

The playpen is covered with boards that surround it on all sides, and another board that seems to have been placed like a lid has been found in another room at the site.

No food or drink was placed.

Momoda is known to have stated, "I've been out alone several times before, and I was still in the playpen at that time."

Police are investigating the situation in detail, suspecting that Yuyo was being abused on a daily basis.
