“Due to the influence of active frontal sections, heavy rains (15-40 mm in 12 hours or less) are expected in the southern and western regions of Primorsky Krai at night and in the afternoon on July 8, in some places very heavy rains with an amount of 50 mm or more in 12 hours and less," the ministry said in a statement.

Heavy rains are also expected in Vladivostok.

Earlier, Kryminform reported that more than 220 road infrastructure facilities in Crimea were damaged after heavy rains.
