The law of transformation of the public service does not pass with the agents of the department of Val-de-Marne.
Nearly 500 of them demonstrated in Créteil on Monday, twice as many as on March 28.
The protesters denounce a text which cuts down on paid leave and increases working time, explains
Le Parisien
.
Indeed, it puts an end to "derogatory situations in terms of working time in local authorities and lays down the principle that, except for legitimate exceptions [...], all public officials must work at least 35 hours per week, i.e. 1,607 hours per year". , said the prefecture.
This adds 70 hours of annual work to some 8,000 agents in Val-de-Marne.
Entry into force in 2023
The application of the law from January 1, 2023 will also cause some to lose ten days of paid leave.
Four mayors of Val-de-Marne are in solidarity with the demonstrators, regretting the questioning of the "free administration of local communities".
