As low pressure passes to the north of the Korean Peninsula and the rainy season front is activated, strong rain is expected to fall mainly in the central region until tomorrow.
Starting this morning in the northwestern part of Gyeonggi-do and northern Chungnam, it will rain in the central region, Honam, and northern Gyeongbuk during the day.
Tomorrow, the precipitation area is expected to expand to the whole country, and rain is expected in Gyeongsang-do.
Until tomorrow, 30~100mm of rain will fall in the metropolitan area and inland of Gangwon, and there will be places where it will rain more than 150mm in northern Gyeonggi and northern inland of Gangwon.
10~60mm of rain is expected in Chungcheong, Yeongnam, Honam, and Jeju Island, and more than 80mm in many places.
As the monsoon front develops strongly, there will be places where it will rain at a rate of 30-50mm per hour.
The temperature will drop slightly due to this rain, but it is expected that it will be difficult to relieve the sweltering heat in the southern area.
The daytime temperature in Seoul will only rise to 30 degrees today and 29 degrees tomorrow, and the temperature will drop a little, but the daytime temperature in Daegu will still exceed the heatwave warning standard of 34 degrees today and 33 degrees tomorrow.
