Storm warning in

Paris Match

.

The Society of Journalists (SDJ) of the weekly "is indignant" this Wednesday, about the front page of the next issue which will be on newsstands Monday.

"Who really is Cardinal Sarah", title the magazine, without resorting to the interrogative form, announcing an interview with "the man of influence and peace" conducted by Philippe Labro.

A choice which "does not correspond to the editorial line of the newspaper" and which could, alarms the SDJ, "confuse [the] readers and divert them" from the magazine.

The journalists point out that, in the interview, "Cardinal Sarah's most controversial positions were passed over in silence."

Bolloré in the viewfinder

The SDJ of

Paris Match

reveals that the editor-in-chief had "tried to convince the management of the Lagardère group to reconsider its choice of Front page" and denounces "this interference by the management of the group".
