Did you miss the news this early morning?

We've put together a recap to help you see things more clearly.

Elisabeth Borne will deliver her general policy speech

It's the big day for Elisabeth Borne and her government.

In search of a compromise but without asking for a confidence that the opposition already refuses her, the Prime Minister will deliver her general policy statement at 3 p.m. before the deputies, then at 9 p.m. before the senators.

The vote of confidence, in accordance with article 50-1 of the Constitution, is not compulsory.

On the right as on the left, seven Prime Ministers out of 27 since 1959 have not asked for it.

Elisabeth Borne will on the other hand have to face a motion of censure, already announced by the Nupes.

She will also punctuate this political sequence with an interview at TF1's "20H".

Strike on the SNCF network, the TGV, TER and Ouigo affected

It will be difficult to take the train this Wednesday.

A strike by SNCF employees should indeed disrupt the departure on summer vacation for many travelers, with in particular 2 TER out of 5. Three out of 5 TGVs should run on the East axis, 3 trains out of 4 on the North and Atlantic axes , and 4 out of 5 trains on the South-East axis, indicated SNCF Voyageurs, as rail prepares for a record summer after two years marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Finally, 2 Ouigo out of 3 should be maintained, while international traffic (Eurostar, Thalys, Lyria) should be “almost normal”.

The unions have called for this movement to demand wage increases in the face of soaring inflation.

Euro 2022 starts tonight in England

Let's go for Euro 2022. At home, the English will open the ball of the competition at 9 p.m. this Wednesday evening against Austria.

Les Bleues will however have to wait a little longer before entering the tournament.

Corinne Deacon's players will face Italy on Sunday at 9 p.m.

In this group D, they will then play, still at 9 p.m., against Belgium on July 14, then against Iceland on July 18.

The final, with we hope the French, will take place on July 31 at 6 p.m.
