“According to the information of the regional forestry dispatching services, over the past day on 07/05/2022, 69 forest fires were eliminated in Russia on an area of 11,473 hectares,” TASS reports.
According to Avialesookhrana, there are 136 forest fires in the country on an area of 20,280 hectares.
Earlier, the head of Rosleskhoz, Ivan Sovetnikov, said that this summer the greatest fire risk is expected in Yakutia, as well as in the regions of the Far East and Siberia.
