The number of Covid-19 contaminations "should slightly exceed 200,000" over the past 24 hours, Health Minister François Braun announced on Tuesday.
For Patrick Pelloux, president of the Association of Emergency Physicians of France, it is becoming urgent to protect yourself again with the wearing of a mask and hydroalcoholic gel.
The seventh epidemic wave "has been increasing in recent days" and "we have recorded around 120,000 cases (per day) on average this past week, with a number of cases which should slightly exceed 200,000 this evening", declared François Braun at the start of a discussion on the "health monitoring and safety" bill.
For Patrick Pelloux, president of the Association of Emergency Physicians of France, removing the mask was a mistake.
"We had to keep it at least for transport," he assured Europe 1. "To say, we appeal to the common sense of the French, I don't believe it."
