According to the official WeChat news of the Beijing Health and Health Commission, from 0:00 to 24:00 on July 5, Beijing added 5 local confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infection (all were quarantined observers). No new suspected cases; 2 new imported confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infection, and no new suspected cases.

4 cases of asymptomatic infection were released from medical observation.

  Indigenous cases:

  Confirmed case 1: Currently living in the Zhujiang Ravi Township, Tongzhou District, an isolated observer, diagnosed as a confirmed case on July 5.

  Confirmed cases 2, 3, and 5: Currently living in a commune (hotel) at the foot of the Great Wall in Yanqing District. They are quarantine observers. They were diagnosed as confirmed cases on July 5.

  Confirmed case 4: Currently living in Longwan Villa, Shunyi District, as an isolated observer, diagnosed as a confirmed case on July 5.

  Asymptomatic infection: Currently living in Longwan Villa, Shunyi District, as an isolation observer, diagnosed as asymptomatic infection on July 5.

  Confirmed cases imported from abroad:

  Confirmed case 1: Chinese nationality, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from the United Arab Emirates on July 1. After the customs passed health screening and nucleic acid testing, it was sent to a centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management. On July 4, the nucleic acid test result was reported to be positive. A confirmed case was diagnosed on May 5.

  Confirmed case 2: Taiwanese, China, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Taiwan, China on July 4. After the customs passed the health screening and nucleic acid test, they were sent to the centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management. The nucleic acid test result was reported as positive on the same day. In July A confirmed case was diagnosed on the 5th.

  The above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been carried out, and control measures have been implemented as required.
