Did you miss the news this early morning?

We've put together a recap to help you see things more clearly.

Nearly 710,000 candidates will discover the baccalaureate results this Tuesday

The hearts of 709,399 people, and even a little more if we count their parents, are likely to beat a little faster than usual on Tuesday morning.

It is indeed today that the results of the baccalaureate will officially be displayed in high schools or can be consulted directly on the Internet.

However, the stress on waking up will only be short-lived: the results will be published as early as 8 a.m. in certain academies.

Of the candidates trying to obtain the precious diploma this year, more than half (53.7%) have taken the general baccalaureate, which now consists of a common core of subjects, supplemented by two specialist courses chosen at the map by the students.

Algeria celebrates the 60th anniversary of its independence

It's a day of celebration in Algeria.

The country indeed celebrates this Tuesday with great fanfare, with in particular a military parade of unprecedented scale, the 60th anniversary of its independence after 132 years of French colonization.

After nearly eight years of war between Algerian insurgents and the French army, the guns fell silent on March 18, 1962 under the terms of the historic Evian Accords, paving the way for Algeria's proclamation of independence on March 5 July of the same year, approved a few days earlier by 99.72% of the votes during a self-determination referendum.

But 60 years later, the wounds remain alive in Algeria while France excludes any "repentance" or "apologies", although Emmanuel Macron has endeavored since his election to appease memories with a series of symbolic gestures.

Christophe Galtier has signed a two-year contract with PSG

And the new PSG coach is… Christophe Galtier.

If this choice is no longer a surprise for a few days, the signing of the contract has now been made since Monday evening.

Aged 55, the former Nice technician signed up for two years with the capital club to replace Mauricio Pochettino.

For the official presentation, however, it will be necessary to wait for the press conference convened at 2 p.m. this Tuesday at the Parc des Princes.
