Hosni Mubarak's lawyer's condition to save Naira Ashraf's killer

The famous Egyptian lawyer, Farid El-Deeb, sparked a wide wave of controversy after he revealed that he did not mind defending Mohamed Adel, the killer of Mansoura University student, Naira Ashraf.

In statements to Al-Watan newspaper, Farid El-Deeb, who pleaded in the case of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, said: “I am waiting for the court ruling tomorrow, and then I will take my decision, whether to defend him or withdraw.” Sources close to the lawyer indicated that he may plead in the case if The death sentence was approved, and it is noteworthy that the Mansoura Criminal Court decided earlier to refer the papers of the accused of killing Naira Ashraf, called Muhammad Adel, to the Mufti of the Republic, to express the legal opinion on his execution, after he killed the student known in the media as “the Mansoura student”, in front of one of the University gates on June 20 last.

The family of the student, Naira Ashraf, commented that the famous lawyer, Farid Al-Deeb, was responsible for defending the killer.

Hadeer Ashraf, the victim's sister, wrote about this controversy, "God will not forsake us if the people of the earth gather to harm you with something.

The victim’s sister, Naira, confirmed her confidence in the Egyptian judiciary that the student would make the murderer an example for others, by supporting the death sentence, warning that in the event that Mohamed Adel was not executed, “Egypt’s image will be shaken before the world,” considering that her sister’s case is a “case of public opinion.” .

Hadeer added: "I am confident in Egypt's judiciary because it is a public opinion issue. It must be a lesson to the whole world. If it does not happen, Egypt will shake its image before the world, and that will never happen. Lord, help us against the unjust people."
