Covid-19: 2 new variants relaunch the epidemic

As summer approaches, Covid-19 indicators are on the rise, casting doubt on a possible 7th wave of contamination.

The doubts relate in particular to the transmission of the sub-variants of Omicron, BA4 and BA5, responsible for a major outbreak in Portugal in recent weeks.

After a significant lull in France, the number of cases is rising, while there are no longer any restrictions, either in transport or in places frequented by the public.
