  As a classic repertoire of the theater, the Fujian Opera "Plum and Jade Matching", it has been more than 100 years since the premiere of Mr. Zheng Yizuo, known as the "Fujian Opera Mei Lanfang", in 1918.

Zheng Yizuo became famous by playing the protagonist Su Zhenyu in the play. This play has also created many famous Fujian opera masters such as Li Mingyu, Guo Xizhu, Lin Ying, etc., and has inherited seven generations of actors. Thousands of shows are the theater's "house-watching show".

In 2022, the theater will innovate the overseas promotion method of the play, and jointly organize the Lantern Festival Hokkien Opera Gala with the Federation of Fujian Associations in Canada. On the Lantern Festival, they will jointly present the play to overseas folks living in Canada in the form of online performances, which have achieved good responses. .

  The Fujian Opera "Plum and Jade Matching" better preserves the traditional science and introduction of Fujian Opera. , fresh and lively, so that the play has always maintained a strong vitality, which is of great significance to protecting and inheriting the culture of the play.

  With the support and care of the National Arts Fund and the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, this is also the case of the Fujian Provincial Experimental Fujian Theatre following the training of young performers in the Fujian Opera "Relegation to an Official" in 2014 and the training of young performers in the Fujian Opera "Double Butterfly Fan" in 2019.   Fujian Opera, also known as "Fuzhou Opera", originated in the late Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years. It is the only type of opera that is sung and recited in Fuzhou dialect. , Hong Kong, Macao and overseas Chinese living places in Southeast Asian countries.

After hundreds of years of transformation, Fujian Opera has formed an artistic style that draws on others' strengths and integrates well, and is included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection lists.
