Egypt .. Director cancels the Eid al-Adha prayer and the "Awqaf" interferes
The Egyptian Ministry of Endowments decided to terminate the work of the Director of Endowments Department of Shebin El-Kom City in Menoufia, Yahya Mohamed Abdel-Khaleq Barghouth, because of his statements about canceling the Eid al-Adha prayer.
According to the ministry, the official attributed statements that violate the instructions and directives of the Ministry of Awqaf, regarding the preparation of squares and major and university mosques for the Eid al-Adha prayer, as he announced that prayers in the squares were canceled.
The director of the Menoufia Endowments Directorate, Zakaria al-Khatib, was referred to the Values Committee of the General Court of the Ministry of Endowments, today, Tuesday, to find out the extent of his responsibility for what was issued by the director of the Shebin al-Koum administration, with his shortcomings in his work, according to the “Cairo 24” website.
The Ministry of Endowments confirmed that it directed all directorates to fully prepare for the Eid al-Adha prayer, in the squares, major mosques, and the university in which Friday prayers are held, according to the arrangement of each directorate, with allocating places in all the squares in which the Eid prayer is held for women and children, with the opening of all women’s chapels in the mosques that are held. It has the Eid prayer.
