At a junior high school in Okayama City, a doctor in charge of a student's health examination was arrested by the Kyoto Prefectural Police for voyeurizing a girl student in underwear who was examined using a pen-shaped camera.
The camera also stores videos of about 40 other students, who are investigating how the police were filmed.
The person arrested was Daisuke Fujiwara (47), a doctor who runs a clinic in Minami-ku, Okayama City.
According to the police, in May last year, when he was dispatched to a junior high school in Okayama City as a cooperating doctor and was in charge of a health examination, he said that he used a pen-shaped camera to take a sneak shot of the underwear of five female students undergoing medical examination. There is a suspicion of violating the nuisance prevention ordinance.
Police investigated the doctor in connection with another voyeur incident in Kyoto Prefecture, and found a video of the student on his pen-shaped camera.
According to the police investigation, he admitted that he was "no doubt that he had taken a voyeur".
This doctor was dispatched to elementary and junior high schools in Okayama City for about 10 years to have a medical examination.
The pen-shaped camera also stored videos of about 40 female students and children undergoing medical examinations, so the police are investigating how they were taken.
