The manager, also director of the Villa Arson, ensures that contemporary music "will continue to live in Nice".

Cirm had a budget of approximately 700,000 euros, provided equally by the State and local authorities.

Questioned by the elected Greens who are moved by the disappearance of a "new place of culture" in Nice, candidate for the label of European capital of culture in 2028, the first deputy mayor assured that the city "has not never failed the Cirm".

It "will continue its financial support for musical research", added Anthony Borré.
