[Explanation] On the morning of July 3, the 70th anniversary celebration meeting of Guangxi University for Nationalities was held in Nanning, Guangxi.
The school is characterized by "ethnicity, regionality and internationality". It has cultivated more than 330,000 talents of various types, recruited more than 22,000 international students from 82 countries and regions around the world, and sent nearly 17,000 students to Studying abroad is quite influential in ASEAN countries.
With the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the school will adhere to the characteristics of international education and deepen the educational and cultural exchanges in the RCEP economic circle.
[Explanation] The school has established substantial exchanges and cooperation with 176 universities and institutions in 22 countries and regions along the "Belt and Road".
At the conference, the Minister of Education and Sports of Laos, Pu Simalaon, the President of Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom, Martin Jones, and the President of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University in Thailand, Sano Greenan, delivered video speeches.
After the conference, Du Kaikang, an international student from Laos who is about to graduate with a master's degree, wished his alma mater a more stable future and cultivate more talents for the society in the message book.

I studied business management in Laos (undergraduate), and then came here to study applied economics.
In fact, the economic aspect is also a good aspect. In the future, it can play a certain role for the country or a certain unit, or working in (Laos) side.
After coming to China to study and go back, it can also increase the close relationship between the two sides (Laos and China).
[Explanation] Huang Thihui, a Vietnamese doctoral graduate from Guangxi University for Nationalities, stayed at the school as a foreign teacher majoring in Vietnamese. At the same time, she and her husband ran a translation company to translate Chinese books and publish them in Vietnam.

Because we teach languages, our teachers are definitely bridges between the two countries.
In addition to being a teacher, I am also a translator. I have my own translation company. Recently, I have translated some Chinese cultural communication books into Vietnamese. There is a book called "The Great Wall" and another book is "China". "Picture Dictionary", I think these things are all through some real objects, to spread Chinese culture to foreign countries.
[Explanation] Today, Guangxi University for Nationalities has cultivated more than 22,000 international students who are "Knowing China, Youhua, and Aihua", and more than 18,000 interdisciplinary talents who are proficient in non-common languages. They serve various ministries and commissions of the country , major international and domestic media, embassies of various countries in China and major enterprises.
In the future, Guangxi University for Nationalities will continue to adhere to open education, serve the "Belt and Road" initiative, and cultivate more talents for the RECP economic circle.

(School) Strengthen the construction of ASEAN high-end think tanks and ASEAN discipline groups, and provide think tanks with high participation and talent support in order to deepen and solidify the open cooperation towards ASEAN.
Taking advantage of geographical advantages, three Confucius Institutes have been set up in Thailand, Laos and Indonesia respectively, with more than 260,000 registered students and more than 30,000 people taking various Chinese proficiency tests, effectively promoting international Chinese education and promoting people-to-people bonds between China and foreign countries.
