At the time, more than 20 mm of precipitation had fallen in less than twenty minutes, while the town was preparing to welcome nearly 80,000 spectators as part of the Art Rock festival. 

Recognition granted on June 15

In the process, the City of Saint-Brieuc had filed a request for recognition of natural disaster with the State in order to allow those affected to be compensated for claims usually excluded from their insurance contract.

Granted on June 15, this recognition was published in the Official Journal on Saturday July 2.

Quoted by our colleagues, the Prefecture of Côtes-d'Armor indicated that from the publication in the Official Journal, the people affected had ten days "to file with their insurance company an estimated statement of their losses in order to to benefit from the compensation scheme.
