The Florida authorities took several decisions, including preventing the transportation of plants, soil, field waste or construction residues outside its locations, and for two years after the state of Florida witnessed an invasion of a giant type of snail, the size of a mouse.

Local authorities confirmed that the animal settled in Port Richey on June 23, which was "agricultural isolation" the next day, according to the British newspaper, "Daily Mail".

This animal is characterized by the presence of male and female reproductive organs, meaning that one individual can reproduce alone.
