Take me for a bitch

by

Guillaume Clicquot, published on June 30, 2022 in self-publishing.

His favorite quote:

The conclusion was obvious: I had changed and I hated what Xavier had done to me, this hateful being plagued by injustice.

I had to live now with these macabre prayers within me that only divine intervention could grant.

Why this book?

  • Because behind an almost ironic double-meaning title

hides a dark and captivating story.

I remained attached to my reading, like a mussel to its rock, impossible to put the book down without being haunted by this family drama.

I got caught up in the game, I put myself in the shoes of Orane, a character I had never met in literature and to whom I award a palme d'or.

  • Because between the noir novel and the psychological novel,

Guillaume Clicquot paints the portrait of a woman who has nothing more to lose and now everything to gain.

She took me with her and I still haven't come back.

The author has put on her woman's dress and depicts an ultra-realistic portrait of the fairer sex.

Quality narration, a story that will surprise you, knock you down and bring you to a breathtaking final explosion.
