Condemned to death requests to postpone the implementation to donate his kidney!

A prisoner in the United States of America has called for his scheduled execution to be postponed in a few days so that he can donate a kidney.

Ramiro Gonzalez is due to be given a lethal injection on July 13 for the shooting of an 18-year-old West Texas girl whose body was found two years after the crime.

In a letter sent with his attorney to Governor Greg Abbott, Gonzalez said he would like to give him 30 days before the sentence is carried out, to donate a kidney to someone who is ill and in desperate need of the kidney.

The young man's attorneys also submitted a request to the Texas Council for a 180-day conditional release to be able to make the donation.

Gonzalez received an excellent rating as a kidney donor from the University of Texas at Galveston, where he has a rare blood type that can be difficult to find when a patient asks for it.

It is reported that the state of Texas allows inmates to donate organs and tissues, but Gonzalez has not yet received approval for the donation.

This is because it is rare for a prisoner to request a postponement of his execution in order to be able to donate his organs, and the donation usually takes place during the prisoner's detention.
