On July 1, the immigration management police of Menglong Border Police Station of Xishuangbanna Border Management Detachment in Yunnan rescued a Burmese python, a national first-class protected animal with a body length of nearly 3 meters and a weight of 25 kg.

At about 15:00 that day, the Menglong Border Police Station received the police from the people in the area and said that a large python was found while cleaning the ditch, and the police were requested to come and deal with it.

After receiving the police, the police quickly rushed to the scene with equipment.

The police took the equipment and put it in the spare box after capturing it under the premise of protecting the python.

After identification, the python is a national first-class protected animal, the Burmese python, also known as the Burmese rock python.

After inspection, the physical condition of the Burmese python is normal. At present, the police have handed it over to the local forest police.
