The Egyptian security services in Assiut Governorate are intensifying the search for a housewife and her 4 children, after they have been absent from their home since Wednesday.

The Assiut Security Directorate received a notification from the warden of the Al-Qusiya police station stating that a report had been received from Abdel Mohsen.

S., residing in the village of Arab Sheikh Aoun Allah, is absent from his daughter, Shaima, 35, and her sons “Maha” 15 years, “Mohammed” 10 years old, “Shatha” 8 years old, and “Musab” 4 years old.

A research team was formed headed by Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Criminal Investigations at the Assiut Security Directorate, and the department's investigation officers.

Abdel Mohsen, the father of the mother and the grandfather of the children, said that his daughter Shaima went from the village of Arab Sheikh Aoun Allah in Al-Qusiya to the city of Assiut with her children to conduct an examination at a doctor in the city of Assiut last Wednesday morning.

He added that at one o'clock in the afternoon the mobile phones were turned off with his daughter Shaima and his grandchildren, noting that they had three mobile phones with them.
