Big flower orchid has strict requirements on the growing environment. It can grow well only when it meets the conditions of sufficient water supply, well-drained soil, large temperature difference between day and night, high air humidity and good air circulation.
The big flower orchid is also known as the "big pocket orchid" because of its shape resembling a pouch with a small mouth and a big belly.
The flower body is purple-red and the flower diameter is 5 to 6 cm. It is a kind of wild orchid with high ornamental value in China and is known as "the most beautiful orchid in northern China".
Distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shandong and Taiwan.
