Which tonic water do you swear by?

Still on Schweppes Dry Tonic Water.

It is wonderful in its reduction: bone-dry, citric, reduced-sugar.

Which gin goes well with?

To Gin Mare, which has nice Mediterranean notes and to Tanqueray i No. 10, which has nice citrus and juniper berry notes.

Do you have to match the tonic water to the gin?

Better yes, but of course it's a matter of taste.

Some like very complex gins and then choose a very complex tonic with strong spice aromas.

Which gin should you definitely have in the house?

Tanqueray i No.10.

It tastes fresh, brilliant and has an elegant restraint.

This gin really goes with a lot of tonics, I prefer to drink it with Dry Tonic or "Premium Indian Tonic Water" from Fever Tree, which is not quite as dry.

In the summer I add a slice of grapefruit.

Is there summer and winter gin - like finding more white wine drinkers in the warmer months?

Yes, in any case.

In the summer I like to drink fresh, citrusy gins.

In winter I like more complex gins, with clove and cardamom notes like Elephant.

Personally, I can only meet this variety of flavors with a totally dry filler, for example Fentimans.

For the Broker Gin I choose the classic tonic from Thomas Henry with a pleasant sweetness.

A slice of orange goes well with it.
