China News Service, July 1. According to the "Shanghai Release" WeChat public account, the Office of the Leading Group for the Prevention and Control of the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic in Shanghai issued a message. According to the relevant requirements of the mechanism "New Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Plan (Ninth Edition)", starting from 0:00 on July 1, the control measures for people who leave Shanghai and return to Shanghai will be adjusted as follows:

  1. Take control measures such as "staying at home and providing door-to-door services" for high-risk areas in Shanghai.

For those returning to Shanghai who have a history of living in high-risk areas within 7 days, the "7-day centralized isolation medical observation measures" will be implemented after arriving in Shanghai, and the corresponding frequency of new coronavirus nucleic acid testing will be implemented.

  2. Take control measures such as "not leaving the area and picking things at different peaks" for medium-risk areas in Shanghai.

For those returning to Shanghai who have a history of living in medium-risk areas within 7 days, they will be subject to "7-day home quarantine medical observation" after arriving in Shanghai, and new coronavirus nucleic acid tests at corresponding frequencies will be implemented.

If the conditions for home isolation medical observation are not available, centralized isolation medical observation shall be adopted.

  3. Persons leaving Shanghai from low-risk areas in Shanghai [that is, streets (towns) with medium and high-risk areas within their jurisdiction] must hold a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate.

For those returning to Shanghai who have a history of living in low-risk areas within 7 days [that is, other areas in the counties (cities, districts, and flags) where medium- and high-risk areas are located), they should complete 2 nucleic acid tests within 3 days after arriving in Shanghai, and conduct health monitoring.

  4. For those returning to Shanghai who have a history of living in high, medium and low risk areas within 7 days, they should report to the village committee and unit (or hotel where they live) as soon as possible and no more than 12 hours after arriving in Shanghai.

  5. Those who enter public places with clear epidemic prevention requirements and take public transportation must hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 72 hours.
