La grande bookstore

.

He will no longer host the flagship literary program of the French television landscape which he created in 2008 and which is broadcast on France 5, he announced to the newspaper

Le Parisien / Today in France

on Friday.

“I remain producer of this program that I created and that I love deeply: every Wednesday evening, I will be in control.

I'm not giving up on the baby.

I'm just changing jobs: I'll be on the other side of the screen, ”explains the host who will present his latest issue on July 6.

"At 53, I want new challenges"

Who will succeed him at the presentation of "La grande bookstore" in September?

"The choice has not yet been made," he replies.

"The person who will succeed me will be, as I was, in empathy, greed, passion and transmission," he adds.

“At 53, I want new challenges: making movies and series, writing and shooting documentaries, producing new talents,” he explains again.

Among his projects, he cites “a mini-series on a great writer of the 20th century”.

"It will be a fiction that I will write and direct", says François Busnel who is also the companion of the writer Delphine de Vigan.
