July 1 marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.
On the morning of the same day, the Central People's Government Liaison Office in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Central People's Government Office for Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other central agencies in Hong Kong held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.
