Yunchan Lim, the youngest winner of the American Van Cliburn Competition, held his first press conference after returning home.

He expressed his impression that nothing has changed since the victory, as he has only played the piano until now.

Lim Yun-chan, who entered the press conference, first sat down in front of the piano.

He quickly fell in love with the music itself and immersed himself in the performance, the same as at the Van Cliburn Competition.

Lim Yun-chan said that he has not changed since he was the youngest winner of the competition.

[Lim Yunchan/Pianist: Even now, nothing has changed.

Just because I won the competition doesn't mean I'm better, so I'll try to practice more.] The

videos of the contest were viewed millions of times, but he said he had never seen it himself.

[Lim Yunchan/Pianist: (I deleted YouTube and Google) I didn't listen to any of my performances during the contest.

Even now, I haven't been able to properly listen to my performance at the competition...

On the final stage, he said that his performance got better thanks to his connection with the jury chairman, Marin Alsopp, who had collaborated with him.

Professor Minsu Son, who has been teaching since the age of 12 by Yunchan Lim, was also present at the meeting.

[Sohn Min-su/Professor Han Ye-jong (Lim Yun-chan's teacher): The power of music was eventually achieved through self-management and temperance in Yun Chan-i's small practice room...

Starting this month, Yunchan Lim will hold a concert in North America, starting with Aspen, USA.

In December, he plans to hold a recital to commemorate his victory in Korea and present the songs he performed in this competition.
