Watch a bison attack a family in an American park... and a child miraculously survives
A man was injured in the arm and hospitalized after he and his family were attacked by a bison in Yellowstone National Park in the United States, the US National Parks Authority announced, urging tourists not to approach these huge cows.
The 34-year-old was walking with his family on a bridge in this famous park in the west of the country when the bison attacked the group, according to a statement issued by the federal agency responsible for managing the natural parks in the United States.
The family members did not leave the place, while the bison continued their attack and headbutted the man, who was wounded in the arm and was taken to the hospital urgently, according to the statement.
A video published by local media showed the bison attacking a small group of people who did not care to leave.
Then the animal is exposed to an adult and a child before they start running.
According to the US National Park Service, this is the second attack of its kind in less than a month in which a bison has been exposed to someone who got too close to it.
The authority pointed out that the bison is an unpredictable animal that can run three times faster than humans, who must move away from it for a distance of at least 25 meters.
