The summer of Al Jalila Center is full of colors, music and fun

Al Jalila Center for Child Culture, affiliated with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), will launch its summer 2022 program next Monday, which will run until August 26, in cooperation with its partners: “Read”, “Project You” and “Musical Arts Centre”. Children and young people will live among the corridors of the center a unique experience, within a cultural and educational atmosphere full of entertainment.

Al Jalila Center will offer its affiliates a range of cultural and artistic activities aimed at developing children's creative talents and unleashing their imaginations.

Adel Omar, Senior Director of the Special and Media Projects Department at Al Jalila Center, said, “The program seeks to expand the intellectual and craft horizons of children, and encourage them to invest their time during the school vacation in an optimal way.

Together with our partners, we look forward to providing a safe space for children and young people in an environment that encourages innovation and self-expression, by harnessing the capabilities of the center and the expertise of its employees to enhance their spirit of innovation and ambition, develop their talents, and build solid bridges in front of them to move towards a creative future.”

With the Al Jalila Summer Program 2022, youngsters are waiting for days full of fun, with various educational and entertainment activities prepared by the “Iqraa” center for teaching Arabic, including creative writing, interactive storytelling, conversation, games, tests, and others.

The "Project You" center will also provide self-development workshops, focusing on experiences, to learn about cultures, societies and industries.

Children will receive guidance and technical support from the center's artists specializing in visual and performing arts, as they will enjoy learning various techniques in the drawing studio to produce unique pieces of art, and will have the opportunity to explore musical instruments and technology, and unleash their creativity.

Furthermore, children will learn various theatrical skills, such as working with puppets, stage photography, and the art of performing choreography.

The youngsters will immerse themselves in a fun-filled experience to develop their life skills by engaging them in learning cooking skills, as they will learn how to prepare, cook and serve different delicious dishes in the center’s kitchen, in addition to workshops aimed at discovering children’s talents and honing their abilities, such as sessions dedicated to improving handicraft skills. Using different techniques and materials to create unique handmade products.

And the fun continues with Zumba, which provides members with a mixture of movement and fitness to the rhythm of music, as well as fun-filled activities and sports to boost their energy levels and encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle.
