The capital of Gaul has always been a stronghold of French cinema, here is further proof.
Opened in September 2021, the UGC Ciné Cité de la Part-Dieu cinema in Lyon was voted "new cinema of the year" by the International Cinema Technology Association.
240 members of the world film industry have awarded it this distinction which rewards innovation in the operation of dark rooms.
“We are delighted to receive this award, especially in the current context.
The site is part of a new generation of cinemas in which we offer a richer program, in a refined setting, in order to reengage the public”, rejoiced Brigitte Maccioni, president of UGC.
A distinction that perfectly launches the film festival.
It is to be held from July 3 to 6.
All sessions will be priced at 4 euros.
