Météo-France has placed ten departments on orange alert for these risks.

“Virulent thunderstorms develop in the early afternoon on the Haute Loire, then go up towards the south of Alsace”, specifies the meteorological organization.

The departments concerned are Ain, Doubs, Isère, Jura, Loire, Haute-Loire, Haut-Rhin, Rhône, Saône-et-Loire and the Territory of Belfort.
