While the Greens are on a roll, winning state elections, and Habeck and Baerbock are among the most popular politicians, things are going downhill for the FDP.

Clear losses in the past elections, declining popularity of top politicians.

According to current polls, if there were elections on Sunday, the FDP would get between six and eight percent.

Disputes about the end of the combustion engine in 2035, because of the tank discount, because of new debts - and there are already signs of conflict potential for the fall.
