  The article stated that, as the standard bearer of the New Culture Movement and the founder of modern Chinese literature, Lu Xun had a great influence on the development of Chinese social thought and culture after the May Fourth Movement, and was well-known in the world literary circles.

Lu Xun's works have always been an important part of Chinese textbooks in primary and secondary schools. Generations of primary and secondary school students have learned model language, wise thinking and profound critical spirit from his works.

Since the founding of New China, although the Chinese textbooks for primary and secondary schools have undergone many adjustments, Lu Xun has always been the writer with the most works selected in the textbooks.
