“The stag beetle, or, as it is more commonly called, the stag beetle, is one of the most interesting insects, it is the largest beetle in Europe.
It is listed in the Red Book of Russia,” said Tikhon Firsov, Minister of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region.
Firsov urged residents of the Moscow region to leave beetles in the wild when they find them in order to help restore their population.
